Hi Everyone!

 

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself.  My name is Mrs. Hollis and I will be your child's 4th grade teacher this year.  This is my  fourth year at Franklin Academy, and my third year as Team Lead.  However, I have been teaching for approximately  ten years.  I was born and raised in Miami, Florida.  I graduated high school at Miami Northwestern and later received my degree from Barry University.   I have been married to my husband Michael for over 20 wonderful years.  I have three children Todd, Keivin and Michaela who means the world to me.  My family would not be complete if I didn't add my  3 dogs Papi, Pepper, and V.

This will be my third year teaching 4th grade.  I have also taught grades 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 6th, during my teaching career.  My goals are to give your child the academic tools needed to progress to 5th grade.  In addition, I will provide a learning environment that is empowering, family oriented, fun,  loving and respectful.  As for curriculum, I am dedicated to creating an environment that gives every student an opportunity to achieve a quality education with lots of hands on experiences.
